Suicide Screening and Assessment in Pediatric Primary Care
Speakers: Katherine Kerr, MD, Jamon Blood, DO, Tiya Johnson, MD, Assistant Professors of Psychiatry, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler
Speakers will discuss the epidemiology of suicide and non-suicidal self-injury in children and adolescents, identify tools that can be used to screen and assess for suicide and non-suicidal self-injury in the primary care clinic and review CPAN (Child Psychiatry Access Program) and discuss how CPAN can assist primary care physicians dealing with suicidal children/adolescents.
